BUILDING ADHESIVE AND SEALANT. POWER TO BOTH BOND AND SEAL VIRTUALLY EVERYTHING TO ANYTHING IN ALL CONDITIONS
STIXALL® is a one part, chemically curing sealant and adhesive combining the best qualities of silicone and polyurethane technologies. It is specifically designed for adhering most common building surfaces to each other and themselves.
Think of a bonding or sealing application and it is virtually certain STIXALL bonds to virtually all materials porous and non-porous such as GLASS, MARBLE, GRANITE, MIRRORS, BRICKS, STONE, PLASTERBOARD, CONCRETE, ALL METALS, MOST HARD PLASTICS, CERAMICS, FIBREGLASS, TIMBER & MUCH MORE!
STIXALL EVEN STICKS UNDERWATER!
Sealing and bonding in almost every application imaginable. The following are just some examples:
AS AN ADHESIVE:
All surfaces to be bonded must be sound and clean. Cut the tip of the cartridge, taking care not to damage the thread. Apple nozzle and cut cleanly at an angle of 45 degrees with an opening of approximately 6mm diameter. Apply using a standard sealant gun direct to back of one surface only, spaced at 30-40mm centres. Immeditaely place item into position and secure with good, even pressure and with a slight twist action. For heavy items, provide temporary support until adhesive has dried.
AS A SEALANT:
Open tube a above to a size slightly larger than the gap to be sealed. Keep an even pressure on the trigger and the gun at a constant angle to the surface being sealed. To ensure a proper bond, always smooth the sealant down with a spatula or piece of wood wetted with water. For a neater joint apply masking tape toboth sides of the joint, removing within 5 minutes of application.
NOTE:
STIXALL will skin over within approximately 30 minutes. Through cure will be approximately 1.5mm in depth per 24 hours. This may be slower on non-porous surfaces.
Storage: Store in cool, dry conditions between +5 celcius and +25 celcius. Storage outside these parameters will drastially reduce shelf life.
Shelf life: Use within 12 months.
Coverage: Approx 10.5 linear metres for a 6mm diameter bead.
